Privacy Policy

How we handle the information you give us

Who we are

Paradise Adventure Trek Nepal is a trekking agency registered in Nepal and based in Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you enquire about or book a trek with us, why we collect it, and what we do with it. If you have any question about it, write to info@paradiseadventuretreknepal.com.

What we collect

  • Enquiry details. Your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message, submitted through the contact form on this site or by email.
  • Booking and permit details. Once you confirm a trek we need your full name as it appears on your passport, passport number and expiry, nationality, date of birth, passport photographs, emergency contact details and travel insurance policy details.
  • Health information. Any medical conditions, allergies or medications you disclose that could affect your safety at altitude.
  • Technical data. Standard web server logs, including IP address and browser type, kept for security and troubleshooting.

Why we collect it

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote.
  • To apply for the trekking permits your itinerary legally requires. Passport data is submitted to the Nepal Department of Immigration, the Nepal Tourism Board, and the relevant National Park or Conservation Area authority — this is a legal requirement and treks cannot proceed without it.
  • To book domestic flights, hotels and teahouse accommodation in your name.
  • To keep you safe: your guide carries your emergency contact, insurance details and any health information you have given us, and would pass them to a rescue operator or hospital in an emergency.

Who we share it with

We share your data only with the parties needed to run your trek: government permit offices, airlines, hotels and lodges, and — in an emergency — helicopter rescue operators, hospitals and your insurer. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within twelve months. Booking and permit records are retained for the period Nepali tax and tourism regulations require, then deleted. Health information is deleted once your trek is complete.

How we protect it

Access to booking records is limited to the office staff who need it to run your trip. Passport scans and photographs are stored on access-controlled systems and are not circulated by messaging apps.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — except where we are legally required to retain permit or tax records. Email info@paradiseadventuretreknepal.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies and third-party services

This site uses only the cookies needed for the site to function and for security. Some assets, such as web fonts and icon libraries, are served from third-party content delivery networks, which may log the request. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting existing bookings will also be sent to you by email.
